Spring has sprung!!!!! I have to get outside and take some SUNLIT pictures. We haven't seen sunlight much since we arrived last September. To celebrate a warm and sunny future, I've started a new project, sharing my artwork. It's taken me a while to come to the conclusion, that I really need to personally invest in making. I make art. That is what I do, so it is high time I looked at it as something of value, instead of an employment handicap. I've just opened an Etsy shop to feature my work, and hopefully sell. Here is where I need help. I'm not asking my family and friends to buy my work, that isn't really a viable business plan. You've all helped my family immensely at every crossroad and in between. What I need help with is spreading the word about my Etsy shop. Etsy is a wonderful resource, but the best way to market on it is through word of mouth. If you have the chance, please forward a link to my shop to the people in your address book. I've included a link to my shop at the top left of this page. Here it is again http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5651466 I would love to hear what you all think about the shop page & the work on it.

go chloe! i love the pictures of your ceramic pieces and want to see more!!! as for hair cuts; having been there in the CR i know how fraught the whole deal is, trying to communicate whether through laughter or tears; still, some miming and pencil and paper must help, and a healthy dose of laughter after is good; i had a dutch friend living for a while in seattle, in our rental in the cd; she went for a haircut locally, and i mean right around the corner, and came away SHORN! a beautiful blond dutch head of hair cut as if kinky curly, she came out all different, and the whole experience makes me grin still (tho of course it was her head, not mine!) send pictures :)

Thank you for the smile, Liz! I'm laughing too, which has boosted my confidence a bit. Pictures will most likely follow our visit...

What beautiful pieces! What great colors! The coloration on "Winged" is terrific. I am especially attracted to the rows of pink dots on the body. Sound on the wing. Nice. Rosette puts me on the beach, beachcombing after a storm, as the sun rises on a new day. I can almost hear the sound of the surf. Best Wishes, and Love, Dad

Thank you, Dad! Hope we can chat this weekend. We are all missing the beach as well. I see more and more influences from the nature you exposed our family to in my work as time goes on. Go figure...Love you!
